The project Magle Mølle is currently underway to establish a BESS of 2.99 MW and a capacity of 6 MWh.

Migra Teknik's Tasks for the Maglemølle BESS Project

Migra Teknik is responsible for delivering, mounting, setting up, and programming hardware to enable communication with the 2.99 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). This facilitates monitoring and regulation of the battery plant at the Point of Connection (POC), based on pre-RfG data. The scope focuses on hardware installation in a rack cabinet, internal commissioning of the Park Controller (PPC), setup in Huawei Enspire, collaboration on compliance tests, and coordination with various parties (grid company, balance responsible, etc.).

Key responsibilities and included work:

• Mounting of rack cabinet in the technical building.

• Mounting and setup of hardware in the rack cabinet.

• Assisting/guiding/mounting the grid company's router/RTU in the rack cabinet in the technical building.

• Participation in transformer and Huawei BESS commissioning.

• Internal commissioning of PPC for the BESS.

• Setup of the plant in Huawei Enspire for communication to PPC.

• Collaboration with third parties to achieve EON, ION, and FON compliance.

  • Dialogue, planning, and execution of various tests with the grid company, including signal test (cold test) and function test (hot test).

  • Dialogue, planning, and execution of tests with the grid company, including documentation for RfG, logs, and regulation related to FON test.

  • Dialogue, planning, and execution of tests with the connection responsible party.

  • Dialogue, planning, and execution of tests with the balance responsible party, including programming and function testing for the balance responsible party.
