Moletai Solpark

Nordic Solar's Moletai solar park, located in eastern Lithuania about 60 km from Vilnius, is the country's largest to date with a 100 MWp capacity—enough to cover the annual electricity needs of roughly 28,000 European households. The project features more than 150,000 bifacial solar panels mounted on Nordic Solar's proprietary, European-patented sub-structure, which minimizes shading, optimizes energy capture from both sides of the panels, and speeds up installation. In addition to boosting renewable energy production, the park emphasizes biodiversity, incorporating measures developed in collaboration with local biologists to support local plant and animal life.
