Højby Solpark

Nordic Solar officially opened Højby solar park near Odense in August 2023. The park has a capacity of 32 MWp and spans 90 hectares, marking Nordic Solar’s first Danish solar installation equipped with a tracker system that automatically rotates panels to follow the sun for maximum energy production. Developed in collaboration with biologists from Mols Consulting, the project places a strong emphasis on biodiversity, featuring initiatives such as a wide, living hedge of trees and bushes around the perimeter to create an enhanced habitat for local plants and wildlife.
