Lysabild Solpark

Nordic Solar's Lysabild solar park on Als, Southern Jutland, covers 33 hectares and has a 33 MWp capacity, producing enough electricity annually for about 9,000 households. Built in 2022 and inaugurated in January 2023, it features Nordic Solar’s patented bifacial-optimized substructure to maximize energy yield from both sides of the panels, the same design used in Moletai, Lithuania. Developed with Mols Consulting, the project prioritizes nature restoration on former farmland, including soil improvements and hedgerow planting to enhance local biodiversity, with ongoing monitoring of its ecological impact.
