DSV logistic center in Horsens is the worlds largest rooftop mounted PV plant of 34.5 MWp.

The system produces approximately 33 GWh annually, saving around 5,300 tons of CO₂ per year—equivalent to the electricity consumption of 7,300 households—and serves as a flagship example of sustainable energy integration in industrial logistics.

Migra Teknik is responsible for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of the Power Plant Controller (PPC) system and related components for this 35 MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic installation.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Delivery and installation of the PPC system

  • Supply of solar irradiance meter

  • Supply of server for data collection

  • Supply of networking equipment

  • Supply of weather station

  • Consulting with the client/owner, customer, utility company, transformer supplier, installer, balance responsible, and any relevant authorities

  • Setup and management of signal exchange between the solar PV plant, the balance responsible, the utility company, and the client's SCADA/BMS/EMS system

  • In collaboration with the main contractor's engineer, provision of relevant data and assistance to obtain:

    • Voltage set-up permission (EON – Energization Operational Notification)

    • Temporary operational permission (ION – Interim Operational Notification)

    • Final operational permission (FON – Final Operational Notification)

    • Including delivery of the park control module for PowerFactory simulation (for grid compliance modeling and studies)
